Our mission is to connect, celebrate, and strengthen our community by sharing stories, spotlighting local businesses, and promoting events, activities and grassroots initiatives that matter to our residents.

We believe in the power of community — in neighbours supporting neighbours, families finding joy in local events, and local businesses thriving through visibility and connection. Through our platform, we aim to create an accessible, inclusive space where everyone can discover what’s happening in Waterloo & Crosby and how they can be part of it. Through accessible, uplifting storytelling and trusted local insight, we aim to inform, inspire, and strengthen the ties that bind our neighbourhood together.

We are determinedly working towards launching the Cracker Community Fund, a long-term initiative that will help provide free activities for children and support homeschooling families with educational resources. This fund will be powered by advertising support from local business partners, whose investment will have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of local families.

As part of this vision, local house clearance business Crosby Clearance has pledged to donate clearance stock to help us open a Cracker Clearance Community Shop. With enough advertising support to help cover the initial overheads, this shop will serve as a sustainable, community driven revenue stream — with proceeds feeding back into the Cracker Community Fund to support even more local initiatives.
