🎭 PQA Wirral West Launches New Friday Evening Academy – Starting 2nd May 2025! 🎬
Due to growing demand, The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts (PQA) Wirral West is excited to announce the launch of a brand-new Friday evening academy for students aged 6 to 18! Opening on Friday 2nd May 2025, the new academy will take place at Upton Hall School FCJ & Sixth Form, offering young performers even more opportunities to explore their passion for the arts.
🌟 What’s On Offer?
The Friday evening academy will run weekly from 4:30pm – 7:45pm, with a dynamic curriculum that includes:

🎬 Film & TV

🎭 Acting
Students will rotate through all three disciplines, developing performance skills, confidence, and creativity in a supportive and professional environment.

🏫 About PQA Wirral
Founded in 2014, PQA Wirral has grown to teach over 200 students aged 4–18 across the region. The academy currently runs at two fantastic locations:

PQA Wirral West (Upton Hall School FCJ)
📍 Saturday Academy: 9:45am – 1:00pm
📍 NEW Friday Academy: 4:30pm – 7:45pm (from 2nd May) -
PQA Wirral East (Birkenhead High School Academy)
📍 Sessions: 9:45am – 1:00pm and 1:45pm – 5:00pm
From Musical Theatre and Film & TV, to Comedy & Drama, students benefit from expert-led classes, fun and engaging projects, and opportunities to perform both in-house and at external venues.
