Parents across Wirral now have the opportunity to give their little ones a fun and engaging head start in early literacy, thanks to Phonics with Robot Reg – an award-winning phonics programme that’s just launched locally, led by experienced EYFS teacher and mum of two, Becci.

With over 12 years’ experience in primary education, Becci brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and genuine joy to her new role – supporting toddlers and pre-schoolers as they build confidence in speech, language, and phonics, all through playful, high-energy classes.

🎓 What Are the Classes Like?

Phonics with Robot Reg classes are designed for children aged 1–5 years and use singing, dancing, role-play, and exciting games to support early learning in a fun and relaxed environment. The goal is simple: to make phonics fun, ensuring every child’s first experience with literacy is a positive one.

Whether a child is a chatterbox or a little quieter, the sessions help develop:

  • 📚 Speech and language skills

  • ✏️ Early reading and phonics understanding

  • 🎶 Confidence through rhythm, rhyme, and repetition

Becci’s classes are ideal for those preparing to start school or nursery, offering a warm and encouraging step into the world of learning.

📅 Weekly Timetable – Summer Term

All classes are split by age to support children at their stage of development:

Mondays – Hoylake Parade Community Centre

  • 10:00–10:45am Minis (1–3 yrs) – 2 spaces available

  • 11:00–11:45am Pre-school (2.5–4 yrs) – Fully booked

  • 12:00–12:45pm Pre-school – 3 spaces available

Wednesdays – St Saviour's Parish Church, Oxton

  • 10:00–10:45am Minis – Spaces available

  • 11:00–11:45am Pre-school – 4 spaces available

Fridays – The Hope Centre, Pensby

  • 9:45–10:30am Minis – 3 spaces available

  • 10:45–11:30am Pre-school – Spaces available

Private nursery and pre-school bookings are also available on Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
