Carers Week 2025 is almost here—and this year’s celebration, taking place between 7th–15th June, promises a full week of events, connection, support, and well-deserved fun for unpaid carers across the Wirral and surrounding areas. Hosted by WIRED Carers Support, the weeklong programme includes free activities, informative sessions, social gatherings, and plenty of chances to unwind.

Here’s what’s on across the week:
🛶 Narrowboat Trips (Daily: Mon 9th–Sat 14th June)
Enjoy a peaceful day cruising from The Cheshire Cat, Christleton (CH3 6AE), 10am–3pm each day. A perfect escape into nature for some much-needed downtime.

🎤 Wednesday 11th June – Commitment to Carers Conference
Hosted by Wirral Carers Alliance at the Floral Pavilion Theatre, New Brighton (CH45 2JS) from 9am–9pm. A must-attend for carers and professionals alike.
🍽️ Thursday 12th June – Carers Week Lunch
Gather with others at Beechwood Social Club, Wirral (CH43 7ZU), 11am–3pm for a social lunch and warm conversation.
🧠 Friday 13th June – Online General Knowledge Quiz (12pm)
A chance to test your trivia skills and connect with fellow carers online.
🎉 All Week – Online Bingo!
Running throughout the week for a dose of lighthearted fun.
