Waterloo Community Festival 2025

Waterloo Community Festival 2025

Everything You Need to Know About This Year's Waterloo Community Festival.

Excitement is building for the upcoming festival taking place on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th June, and here’s everything festival-goers need to know before heading down for a weekend of great music, good food, and community spirit. Here is everything you need to know....

Festival Times & Entry Info
The gates open at 11:30am on both days, with the final band wrapping up around 9:00pm. While full details on admission prices are available via a link on the festival’s official website, attendees should keep in mind that children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult. The event prides itself on being family-friendly, so all ages are welcome.

What Not to Bring
To ensure safety and a great experience for all, the festival has a few important rules in place. Alcohol, glass bottles, cans, and BBQs are strictly prohibited. All beverages sold onsite will be served in plastic containers, and festivalgoers are encouraged to embrace the eco-conscious and safety-first vibe of the event.

Leaving and Re-entering the Festival
While re-entry is possible, it’s subject to capacity. Hands will be stamped on entry and checked upon return. However, guests may be asked to queue again and undergo another security check, and re-entry is not guaranteed.

Facilities and Accessibility
Though there will be no ATM onsite, card payments can be made at the admission gate, and some stalls will accept cards too—bringing cash is recommended. Onsite, there will be toilet facilities including accessible options for wheelchair users. For families, there’s a dedicated marquee for baby changing and feeding.

The site is generally wheelchair and pushchair accessible, though guests should be aware the terrain is primarily grass, which may pose a challenge for some.

Getting There & Parking
Car parking is extremely limited in the area, so visitors are strongly encouraged to walk or use public transport. Bicycles are welcome but must be secured in a designated area near the entrance at the owner’s own risk.

Dogs, Food, and Fun
Well-behaved dogs on leads are more than welcome, and there's plenty to eat and drink on site—including vegan options. After the festival wraps up, the local area—Waterloo and Crosby—offers a lively mix of bars, pubs, and restaurants, some featuring live music. Booking a table in advance is highly recommended if you're planning to continue the night.

A Festival That Gives Back
Organised by Waterloo Sunrise CIC, a not-for-profit community interest company, the festival operates with heart. After covering costs and setting aside funds for next year's event, any surplus is donated equally to two local charities: Friends of Crosby Beach and Rimrose Valley Friends.
