Rimrose Runners Return for Their Annual 5 Miler – May the 4th Be With You!

On Sunday, 4th May 2025, runners from across the community will gather at Chaffers Running Track in Rimrose Valley Country Park for the much-loved Rimrose Runners 5 Miler—a scenic, spirited event that celebrates both fitness and local pride.

Doors open at 9am, with the race officially starting at 10:00am and wrapping up by 12:00 noon. Open to participants aged 12 and over, the run promises a rewarding challenge for both beginners and seasoned athletes alike.

Set against the stunning natural backdrop of Rimrose Valley, this 5-mile course offers a perfect mix of countryside trails, community spirit, and runner camaraderie. It’s more than just a race—it’s a celebration of the space, the sport, and the people who love both.

In keeping with the date, organisers are leaning into the fun with a nod to a certain galaxy far, far away: “May the 4th be with you” will ring true for all Rimrose Runners as they line up at the start.

Free parking is available on-site, making it easy for runners and supporters alike to get involved. And for those taking part, a special commemorative medal awaits at the finish line—because every mile conquered deserves to be celebrated.

The event isn’t just about the run. It’s a showcase of what the park was meant for: sports, recreation, and community coming together. And if this race is anything to go by, there’s plenty more to look forward to in the future at Rimrose Valley.

Whether you're chasing a personal best or just enjoying the vibe, this is your chance to be part of something special. So, why not join the Rimrose Runners, soak in the views, and make some memories?
