Mini Code Breakers: A Club With a Difference for Curious Young Minds
Share
Looking for an engaging and educational after-school activity that goes beyond the norm? Mini Code Breakers is exactly that — a unique club designed to teach children the fundamental principles of coding in a fun, interactive, and highly accessible way!
Founded in January 2022 by dynamic husband-and-wife duo Carl and Lindsay, Mini Code Breakers blends the strengths of a seasoned software engineer and an experienced PE teacher to deliver weekly coding classes with a difference. Their mission is simple yet powerful: to inspire children to fall in love with learning and problem solving, all while developing essential tech skills.
💡 What Makes Mini Code Breakers So Special?
Mini Code Breakers believe that the future is digital — and that every child deserves the opportunity to be part of it. Their sessions are intentionally small (maximum of 12 students), interactive, and delivered in-person to help children develop logical thinking, digital fluency, and real-world tech skills while having a blast.
Children explore coding through:
-
Animated stories
-
Web page creation
-
Game development
-
Unplugged (offline) activities to reinforce coding concepts
-
Educational platforms like Minecraft
Mini Code Breakers prioritise making learning fun, nurturing curiosity, and celebrating perseverance. Their philosophy ensures every child feels empowered and successful, even when faced with a challenging task.
