Easter Fun in the Park with Friends of Alexandra & Coronation Park
Share
Saturday, 12th April, Friends of Alexandra & Coronation Park invite families to join them for a joyful Easter craft afternoon from 1pm to 3pm—a perfect way to welcome the spring sunshine and keep the little ones happily entertained!
For just £2 per child, children can dive into an afternoon of crafty gluing and sticking, with plenty of creativity and colourful fun. The event also features an outdoor trail, where young explorers can follow clues and complete challenges for a sweet reward at the end.
The forecast is looking bright, so why not bring the whole family and enjoy the atmosphere? Refreshments will be available, and visitors are welcome to relax with their drinks in the pavilion, courtyard, or near the play area—perfect for watching the kids enjoy the new play equipment.
Running alongside the craft event is the group’s monthly woodwork session, where participants can create a charming hen-shaped egg holder—just in time for Easter! This bookable workshop costs £5, with all proceeds going toward funding more play equipment for the park.
Spaces are limited, with one place left at 1pm and five places remaining at 2:15pm. To reserve a spot, simply DM the group on Facebook or email acparkfriends@gmail.com. Both the craft and woodwork sessions are cash only and payable on the day.
It’s shaping up to be a fantastic afternoon of family-friendly fun, creativity, and community spirit—so come along, get messy (without the cleanup!), and help support the park.
