Creative Expression for Teens: May Art School Seniors Returns to Formby

Young creatives in Formby have something exciting to look forward to this half term, as May Art School SENIORS is now open for bookings! Designed especially for ages 11–15, this engaging one-day workshop is being hosted by Jennie from Outline Arts at The Learning Pad, Formby on Wednesday 29th May.

Split into two hands-on, confidence-boosting sessions, the workshop invites young artists to sharpen their skills, try new techniques, and enjoy the calming power of creativity.

✏️ Morning Workshop (10am–12pm): How to Draw Faces
Learn how to draw realistic human faces, explore proportion and features, and complete your very own portrait by the end of the session.

🎨 Afternoon Workshop (12:30pm–2:30pm): Clay Sculptures
Discover the joy of sculpting with air-drying clay, learn a variety of shaping techniques, and take home a beautiful handmade piece ready to paint once dry.

  • £22 per workshop

  • £38 for the full day (includes a supervised break — bring your own packed lunch)

With years of experience as a qualified art teacher and a current DBS, Jennie creates a safe and encouraging space for young people to express themselves through art.
